The Silvercreek Glider Club is an educational soaring club located just north-east of St. Louis. The club operates at Silvercreek Gliderport year-round on weekends and holidays (other days by appointment).

You can become a one day member of the glider club, which entitles you to one familiarization flight with one of our glider pilots.

Please contact us for more information about gift certificates, one day membership, and club membership.  Our Club members currently fly a Schweizer 2-33A, a Grob Twin Astir, a Schweizer 1-26E, a Schweizer 1-34, and a Blanik L-13, along with numerous privately-owned aircraft.

The club's 250hp Piper Pawnee is the workhorse that tows our gliders into the sky above the rich farmland of Illinois.
